Lisa Calle has long been interested in the fabric industry. She holds an undergraduate degree in Textile Management and Marketing and fell in love with quilting in 1997. Lisa discovered longarm quilting in 2004, and under the business name Stone House Quilting, established herself as a professional longarm quilter. Lisa has an extensive portfolio of blocks, borders, fills, and sets of designs that she sells to businesses and online. Lisa also has designed her own line of quilting rulers. Her award-winning original designs have opened the door to teaching opportunities so that others can learn from her art and design skills. Her love for quilting is surpassed only by love of family—and maybe—golf.

Yes! Turn a simple piece of fabric into a work of art—and you made it! This is a great project to complete in a weekend on a domestic or longarm machine. Those who choose to hand quilt the design will naturally take longer.

If that is the case, then this is the class for you! Starting with a simple piece of fabric and making it into something striking is where Lisa excels! She walks you through her designing process in a way that is completely clear and understandable.
