Sharon has always enjoyed working with fabric by sewing her own garments and home decorator items. When her mother-in-law introduced her to quilting, Sharyn was in love at first stitch and discovered a passion that led to the decision to retire from a sales career in technology in order to pursue quilting. Sharyn later used her love of fabric to make tuffets. Now, she has turned a hobby into a business with Tuffet Source. She jokes that she is growing the Tuffet Nation one workshop at a time. She finds great satisfaction in leading workshops where students complete their very own tuffet creation. Sharyn lives in North Carolina with her husband, Allen, aka “Mr. Tuffet,” her two adult children, and four delightfully wonderful grandchildren.
